Neighborhood Church 2016

We recently had an amazing week with Neighborhood Church from Modesto, California. They came in with a passion and drive to give out water filters to every family in the refugee area, and we are excited to share that by the end of the summer, every family will receive one! They also completed many other fun and exciting projects. Check out their highlights below:

Water Filters:

The team handed out exactly half of the water filters, for a grand total of 140 families! That is 140 families who now have clean drinking water. What an amazing blessing!

Bread of Life:

The team did a great job serving with our Bread of Life children. They did a great VBS centered around the story “Jesus Calms the Storm”. The kids did a cute craft and listened to a story book.

Refugee Area Relations:

Because of all the time they spent there, this team grew into great relationships with the people who live in the refugee area. They were the first team to attend church in the the church there! They also spent time loving on the children, pouring into them, and doing a medical clinic there.

Medical Clinics:

The team assisted with multiple medical clinics in different neighborhoods. They did an amazing job meeting these physical needs while still pointing them to Jesus.
