Emerge Leadership Academy 2016

We were so excited to have Emerge Leadership come serve with us again for a week. Emerge is a ministry leadership school in Florida, and their students did an amazing job giving their hands and hearts to serve the people of San Cristobal. Check out some of the highlights of their week:

Christmas shoeboxes: Emerge spent time sorting and organizing the Christmas shoeboxes and then participated in handing out the shoeboxes to the Bread of Life children. With over 100 excited children in the program, this is no easy task and it certainly takes a energetic team to make it happen. Not only did they get the kids to sit down and wait their turns, but they also helped open gifts and shared in this sweet experience with the kids.

Painting: The team painted canvases with the girls one evening. Everyone’s paintings turned out different, but we think they all look pretty awesome! The girls loved this activity and bonding with the team.

Bread of Life- The team also spent time just hanging out with the Bread of Life kids. They loved on them and ministered to them and we are just so grateful for that!

Emerge also visited the hospital and handed out hygiene packets, visited God's mountain and prayed for the city, and so much more. We hope to share more pictures soon. Thanks for an amazing week!
