Hospital Care Ministry
Our hospital care ministry takes place at the local public hospital in our city. There are three different facets of our hospital care ministry: Maternity care, in-patient care, and medical missions teams.
Maternity Care
Our maternity care ministry takes place in the maternity ward of the hospital. We visit the patients and spend time fellowshipping with them, praying with them, and giving them small gifts of hygiene and baby supplies. The patients here vary from labor and delivery patients, postpartum patients, high risk pregnancies, premature babies in the intensive care unit, and pregnancy loss patients.
In-Patient Care
Our in-patient care ministry takes place throughout the rest of the hospital. We still visit the patients and spend time fellowshipping with them, praying with them, and gifting them hygiene supplies. Depending on the day, we see adult patients awaiting surgery, patients recovering from motorcycle wrecks, and pediatric patients.
Medical Missions Teams
On occasion, we have hosted medical missions teams who come to serve with us for a week on a medical trip. These teams can be doctors, physician's assistants, nurses, etc. or groups of students in these or related fields. We tailor the trip to their scope of care. Medical teams can expect to serve shifts assisting in the local hospital in a variety of different units as well as working through our community health outreaches.
