Solid Ground Preschool
An early learning environment

Solid Ground Preschool is a Christian early learning environment where the children of our community can grow not only the building blocks of their education but of their faith as well. Our area is considered an "educational drought" zone, where there are not enough spots in public/private schools for the number of children in the neighborhood. In fact, over 300 elementary age children in the district are not in school due to a lack of space. We partner with families in the area to provide an engaging early education that focuses on early literacy skills, creativity, natural creation, and of course, how the Gospel is woven through every subject.
Our Curriculum
The children at Solid Ground Preschool do weekly unit studies on a variety of topics, all related to God's creation and the world around us. Units also introduce one letter a week and progress through early number sense as well. There is a Biblical component every week to tie the unit together. Some topics include- Trees and plants ("I can grow with Jesus"), Rocks and natural resources ("I build my life on the Rock."), and music ("I can praise God with my voice.")

About our Scholarships
We never want finances to keep a child from an education. To help the families who need it most, we have scholarship progam where families and supporters from the USA can pay for the preschooler's educational fees. The sponsored child's family commits to 10 hours a semester of volunteer work as part of their scholarship package. We currently offer 5 scholarship spots per session (morning and afternoon).
Scholarships cost $30 a month per student. This covers their school fees ($20) and allow us to cover their school supplies, daily snacks, and field trip fees as well ($10). If you are interested in sponsoring a preschool scholarship, please contact us for more information.
Our Next Step- In August 2025, we will open an afternoon session, doubling our enrollment to 60 students! As we continue to look forward, we hope to expand into further classes, eventually becoming a full elementary school.
